All back catalogue of 16volt albums - FOR FREE!

All back catalogue of 16volt albums - FOR FREE!
This is absolutely stunning! Eric Powell from 16volt decided to give his all back catalog for free to you guys, die hard fans and fans-to-be. If you've never had a chance to listen to their music or couldn't decide to buy 16v music - get it now for free! There's donation option as well. It was a hard job through all those (over 10!) years so please support the downloads with your $-$$$.. if you feel that way.

Check out Fabryka Downloads section for the links to the 16v releases (redirection to 16volt website server. Please be patient, the downloads get a huge feedback so it works a bit slowly!).

Rock on!
NINa

Original message:

Here is the deal.
We have decided to give away our entire back catalog and make it freely and openly vailable to anyone and everyone who wants to hear it. We want you to give it to your friends, your enemies, your family, share it with everyone, everywhere. Our goal is to get it out to the people more than it ever has. We want everyone to hear it, own it and share it. Use it for whatever you want as long as you aren't making any money off it. You can?t resell it. As a matter of fact we have some more de?ned creative commons licensing stuff you an check out here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/us/

Why are we doing this?
We had a review in a magazine several years ago that said “16volt is the greatest industrial band you?ve never heard”. Now while the greatest band part is heavily debatable, we realize that although we have been around a long time, there are still so many people who have not heard 16volt. Our hope is that by doing this, we get more fans. We get more people to our shows, we get more people into the 16volt music. So again. Take it. Share it. PLEASE help us spread the word. We need your help. Get this music out to everyone! we want it all over the world. Make CDs give them out at shows, make torrents and upload them, share it, share it, share it. Let people know about this, send them the links. THIS IS PURE VIRAL DISTRIBUTION.
This is a new model of music sharing. We aren't asking you for anything. There is no multi-tiered pricing structure, it?s free. No obligations. If you want however we have setup a PayPal donation button at our site. If you want you can donate some money to us. $1.00. $500.00. Whatever you want. It doesn't matter, and it's purely optional. The priority is to get the music out.
We hope you will be a part of spreading this music and seeing the results. We truly believe that if people listen to it, they will like it and it will give us the opportunity to go tour more, to get over to Europe, Australia, Japan, etc. if the demand is there, we will make it happen.
So go now. Spread it. http://16volt.com/downloads

Bugs and hisses, 16VOLT
source: http://16volt.com/archives/2009/05/28/16volt-back-catalog-for-free/ | 16volt biography: http://16volt.com/biography/

The band features Jeremy Inkel of Industrial music legends FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY & NOISE UNIT and also Denyss McKnight the former bass player of Vancouver punk heavyweights THE BLACK HALOS. The band has no shortage of firepower both on stage and in the studio.

The band self released their first album entitled the SMARTBOMB EP in June 2007, and it was met with a frenzied reception from fans and critics worldwide. The EP was produced by FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY/NOISE UNIT/UNIT 187’s CHRIS PETERSON.

Their full length release FIGHTING FOR VOLTAGE saw the band combining efforts with mastering giant SHAUN THINGVOLD (SKINNY PUPPY/STRAPPING YOUNG LAD/LAMB OF GOD/K-OS) and again with CHRIS PETERSON. The album was released in Canada on April 22, 2008 by Canadian label SYNTHETIC SOUNDS, distributed across Canada by Indie Pool and is set for release on September 23rd 2008 in the USA by BIT RIOT RECORDS/WTII RECORDS.

The band has been very active in the Vancouver live music scene over the last few years sharing the stage with The Birthday Massacre, Combichrist, DOA, Genitorturers, SNFU, 16Volt, Rabbit Junk and Chemlab to name a few. Recently they have expanded their audience with several Canadian tours which have taken them to Montreal and back. They were also asked to perform at this years' New Music West (NMW) festival in Vancouver.

With a Fall 2008 Tour taking the boys all across North America with over 40 dates and hitting the USA for their first time… things are sure to heat up and the message will continue being spread to the masses.
