wore hoods, they wore hoods so you won't see their needs as they walk down the street. they pray to a city that was left in ruins, they pray to a church that was established across the courthouse that takes half of our income. and to this day to this hour we devour every pleasure, every sin, every picture that we hold in our billfold with the intent to alleviate any feeling we will have, we will need, what once was tattered under light seems to have a spark in it. this book i hold was meant to change my name to change the grain, the very essence that i've come to be the seeds i spill with every word i speak. i once threw seeds inside the walls and nonetheless it seems they have flourished. and when you wake up in the morning you wake up lonely you wake up cold. you start to realize we're getting older, you start to picture other peoples needs and battles, the side of darkness that would have only kept us growing distant. these people fight to free their children of their trials
