The Uglysuit recently wrapped up a whirlwind cross-country/cross-continental tour that ended with a leg of dates on the West Coast with The Sea and Cake. Along the way, the band recorded a couple exclusive performances, one of which is on display in this excellent "Decomposed" video session posted on Stereogum right HERE. In these stripped down performances of “Chicago,” “Brownblue’s Passing,” and “Iceland,” the normally six-piece band reveals its ability to mutate into something more compact and stark, and as the piece says, “…it deepens your understanding of the group, adding a depth to material you thought you knew pretty well.” We concur.
