Gecmisimden bahsetmeyecegim bu sayfalarca surer. Sarkici ,besteci ve duzenlemeci'yim. Mimar olmam sarki tasarim surecinde duygusal yanimi sekillendirmemi kolaylastiriyor.

Ne zaman sarki soylemeye ve yazmaya basladim...Klasik " Dogdugum gunden beri" cevabini benden duymayacaksiniz. 14 yil onceydi. Ve birisi kalbimi kirdi...Bunun ustesinden nasil gelebilirim, nasil tekrar nefes albilirim derken yeni aldigim gitari duvara yaslanirken gordum.
Elime aldim ve calmaya basladim.O gun anladim herkez , hersey sizi birakip gidebilir ama muzik...ASLA...

2 yil sonra ise kurdugum Iskele adli rock grubu ile kendi eserlerimi seslendiriyordum.

Hayatimda muzik disinda herseyden vazgecebilirim, cunku muzik bana buyuk bir guc veriyor. Hergun onu soluyorum, bunu kac kisi yapar....

Ozetle kendimi tanimlasam, muzikte Kalite ve tad olgularinin pesinde olan birisiyim.Sonuna kadar dans ettiren, ama ayni zamanda slow sarkilariyla kalpleri kanatan birisi olmak tek amacim.

Kalbimin icinde derinlerde ,sIKIsmis ,aciyan duygular tek tek ortaya cikar. Sozler o anki ruh halime bagli olarak muzikle beraber dokulur tek tek.

Internete Ilk koydugum Shake That S (Ingilizce / Almanca )Avusturya'dan Lila'nin Almanca rap yaptigi calisma, cok sayida dinleyiciye ulastiktan sonra Turkce sozlu bir sarkimi koymaya karar verdim. Kanimca bir sarkida olmasi gereken en onemli sey soz ve muzik arasindaki uyumdur , eger o akicilik varsa o sarki bir hit olur. O zaman sarkinin Ingilizce-Turkce yada herhangi bir dilde olmasinin onemi kalmaz. Bu yuzden dunyadaki bircok ulkede Turkce sozlu olmasina ragmen CISSS sarkisi dinleniliyor. Perfect Combination sarkisi ise turkce sozlu, nakarati Ingilizce...Yazilan guzel yorumlar beni daha iyi kaliteliyi insanlara vermek icin zorluyor.

Dunya platformunda yaptigimiz muzigin dinlenilmesi konusu acildiginda Insanlarin dedigi ilk sey su oluyor: "Beni bu buyuk oyunun icine asla dahil etmezler!" Asla...

Hayatta ne dusunurseniz karsiniza o gelir. Bunun asla ozru yoktur... Kalbinden yaptigin her ne is olursa olsun basarili olacaktir. Bu gucu kimse durduramaz.O tutkuya sahip olmali, bu tutku damarlarinda akmalidir. Bu guc asla durdurulamaz. Insan baskalarini suclamadan once hatayi oncelikle kendinde aramalidir...

Turkce - Ingilizce ,yada herhangi bir dilde sarkimi soyleyip enerjimi insanlara yansitabilirim. Ben bunu basaracagim. Eger kalplerini sarkilarima bir saniyeligine olsun acarlarsa, ictenligi hissederler, muzikteki sevgiyi gorurler, baglanirlar. Benim sevgim herkes icin, herkesi seviyorum....

12 sarkilik albumumu henuz tamamladim. Yaklasik, 250 tane sarkimin arasindan sectim onlari. Su an bir muzik sirketiyle sozlesmem yok, gelen teklifler uzerinde gorusmeler yapiyoruz.

Muzik endustrisinin kurallarina gore degil, tamamen kendi ic sesimi dinleyerek yaptim sarkilarimi. Bu benim digerlerinden farkim. Muzikte bir stil yaratmak amac olmalidir. Gercekten hepimiz klonlanmis starlardan biktik...

Muzikte tad olgusu paylasilan birsey, bu yuzden rockcu - rapci yada club muzigi dinleyen insanlar muzigim hakkinda icten , guzel sozler sarfediyorlar sanirim. Kendime ait muzik stilimi (yorum/sarki/duzenleme) global seviyede kabul ettirebilmek tum amacim.

Internet muzik endustrisinin soluk alip verdigi yer aslinda. Dunya glaballesti, ve bu iletisim agi amaclara ulasmak icin en buyuk anahtar. Eger yaptiginiz iste kalite olgusuna sahipseniz.

Su an 97.4 Avustralya'da, DMR USA Radio'da sarkilarimiz dinleniyor. Hergun dunyanin cesitli yerlerinden -club-disco-party sarkilarimizin calinma haberleri geliyor. Internet sayesinde herkezin elindeki silahlar esit, bu durduralamaz bir guc.

Sizinle ayni dogrultuda yol alan insanlarla tanisip, bir sinerji olusturabileceginiz, Myspace gibi ciddi muzik siteleri var.Bu gucun farkinda olmak gerekir, ve ben farkindayim.

1) Give us a brief introduction of yourself, in your own words.

I won't talk about my past. It can take pages to talk.
I am a Singer / Composer tryin to give some direction to the music. My creation side also comes from my being an
architect.

I can give up anything in life except for music. I can give up my life for it cause it gives me a big power,
I breath it deeply everyday. How many other can ????

In short I can define myself as A Quality Searcher, A Taste Catcher.

Me ," Evrim Tuzun "'s style is Dance to the last... Rock to the end... Ballads to make hearts bleed...

2) First things first, when did you first begin singing/writing music?

Ohh I won't give a classical answer and say " since I was born I sing "
Someone broke my heart really bad one day and it was 14 years ago. I thought how can I get through this,
I took my newly bought guitar in my hand. And I said yeah, music never gives you up, in a good day or a bad day.
Allways near by yourside. 2 days later I made my first song which is not made of chords. I knew nothin in fact.
But 2 years after, I was singing my own songs in concerts.

It was a tunnel, yeah somethin in me was forcin me ... Killin me , hurtin me to do that. Sorry I couldnt stop it. I loved singing. Hope that I die while I am singing all of you a love song that comes all deep inside my heart.

3) Do you play any instruments? If so, which ones and how long have you been playing?

Yeah I've been playin guitar for nearly 12 years. Also I use keyboards basicly to compose my songs.
I use technology in a very effective way. In today's digital world, you can play any instrument,
with the help of a keyboard. It's important to know what you have in your hand and how you can use this wheapon !

4) When you write, where does the inspiration for your lyrics come from?

Deep in my heart, stucked, hurt feelings come out one by one . Lyrics mmmm Well, it depends on my mood. But mostly lyrics comes with the music. Most important thing is the combined harmony of these elements. If it flows then it becomes a hit! So you don't thing it's in English or not. That is why most people around all countries listens to my song " CISSS " ( which is made of Turkish lyrics) and writes beautiful comments about it. That makes me responsible to create more Quality Music.

5) Being that you are from Turkey, have you met any barriers that you've had to overcome to cross into the American independent scene?

No ... Maybe everyone would say " Yeah they don't let me grow to be a part of the big game" .
Hell no ! Because what you think will happen in life and come in front of you... No excuses , no excuses my friends. If you are making what ever you do deep in your heart, that will succeed ! And you must have passion, runnin in your veins. That is the power and nothing , noone can ever stop that. The success is what you do. You must try to find the mistake in yourself, before blaiming the others.

Yes, I will do that, even I sing in English, Turkish or what ever language people will get that energy from my music. I know if they let me introduce myself to their hearts just for a second, they will get addicted to my songs. My love is for everyone, I love them all.

6) What are some of the projects you are currently working on?

I just finished recording my 12 tracks for the album. All of them are chosen from my nearly 250 songs.
I am unsigned and dealing with Producers right now.

I recently made a feat project with an Australian Rapper Lila. I just released that song called " Shake That S" which you can also listen in my myspace address. (English / German Song )

I worked with Altay E. in my song "Perfect Combination"s mix. www.myspace.com/djaltay

Also I released one of my songs in my forth coming album "CISSS "
I'm also working on 2 feat projects right now.... But CISSSSS!!! don't tell it to anyone.

7) What are your goals, so far as being a musician?

I am climbing the stairs inch by inch but so cool and patiently.
If you become avarage that means you become zero.
Only the ones who takes Risks in life can become Number 1. You mustn't be a follower, if you wanna
go far and break your chains. You have to make a change and give some direction to the music.

I did create the music I want, not the thing that the music industry forces me !
This is my difference from the others. Style is what people should create. Yeah We are all bored of dublicated stars...

People (rocker -rapper -or clubber) doesnt matter listens to my music. That is un believeable.
Taste is something, that everybody shares. Believe it or not, that is what I hear! You can see it in my Myspace audience's comments also.

If people say Yeah I know this song " That is Evrim Tuzun's style ". That is the point !
To put a style in Music is my goal with my singing, songs and compositions. Making your mark in music is the global thing, I want that, I hope I'll get that one day.

8) With websites such as Myspace, and online radio stations like Digital Mix, how do you think the internet is affecting the music industry?

Internet has become a huge part of music industry today. World became global and networking is key to
reach your goals, if you have quality in what ever you do. You can meet with people who are going in the right direction with you. You combine your power. And that's Sinerji baby. It makes the biggest Energy. Myspace is one of the best sites to begin creating your future career. I am 9th in myspace's Pop category. (Turkey) When you go up the stairs, right people finds you , believe in me.

Online radio stations like Digital Mix, takes the music in a different direction. Most of the people are listening to internet radios now. Our real and virtual lifes are combined. Nearly all of us sit in front of our computer screen for hours and we listen to music. Internet radio is the easiest way to find your favorite songs, one after another. Internet radios can make a big promotion in music. Every musician must be aware of it's importance.

Yeah Internet is global. If you do something good. People will find you anyway.

9) What advice would you offer to someone that was just getting started with a career in music?

Put your hand on the candle (as my lyrics in CISSS). Wait .... Does it hurts ?
Yeah if you have that desire - gift in you, there is nothing you can do about it. You must go on doing your thing. But just believe in your inner child that drives you wild.

Music has nothing to do with the money. If you are really good in what you do , yeah you do get what you deserve.
But if you are only planning to earn a lot, and meet hot girls. My answer is ..... You allready undestood what I mean.

Come and become a part of me. I am Real ! No fake ... I write all my messages myself. I write to everyone.
I give the same importance to all of my audience, we'll grow together.
