Lollapalooza yesterday was absolutely crazy...wow...lots of press and whatnot to come out soon which we'll keep you updated on, but what a wonderful way to end our summer tour :-)

But, I write you with a more pressing matter ;-) We are FINALLY playing a show in LA after 4 months of skirting in and out of town and honestly, we can't wait to play for our hometown! This tour has brought with it some very interesting and diverse experiences, so we can't wait to be in front of an audience that actually knows our songs and is there to see US! We're very grateful for all of you and we realize it more and more every day we're out of town :-)

CARNEY Returns to L.A. 8/20 at The Roxy!

Goodness Gracious, what a couple of months it's been :-)

We've gone from opening for the Veronicas, to playing at 10,000 Lakes/DFest, to headlining our own little club tour, to joining a production of Grease in Jamaica, to driving towards Chicago so we can finish things off at Lollapalooza - and all in a matter of about 3 months! OK kids, which one of these is different than the other...hint, it involves the Caribbean...hint, it is the whole Jamaica bit...this is why I'm not a magician anymore...

It's been quite the summer and in some ways it's just getting started which is why I'm writing this little ditty ;-)

It is my honor to officially announce that our next LA show will be held at The Roxy on August, 20th and is going to be sponsored by KROQ Locals Only! We're really excited about getting to play in Los Angeles after so many months on the road and we can't wait to see you all there!

In other news - and I know this has been a long time (read: 3 years) coming - we have a RELEASE DATE for our debut album and we'll be unveiling that date at our gig on August, 20th :-) Here are the details and we can't wait to perform for you:

In even OTHER news (cause I like to make sure y'alls is informed...) we're shooting our first ever music video later this summer! It's going to be done "Love Me Chase Me" and all I can say is that we're dedicated to making it above and beyond what anyone could ever imagine...so wish us luck already!

Carney Summer Headlining Tour

Hey all!

Our tour with the Veronicas is coming to an end today in Philly and we've had such an amazing time with them :-) Lots of great stories and performances to remember and a whole new grip of fans who are super-duper freakin' passionate!

Being on tour has definitely rejuvenated us and thankfully we've got even more of it coming up :-) This time though we're HEADLINING! Which means if you live in one of these cities or have friends and family there we'd LOVE to see you at one of these shows! All the people we can get out will help us more than you know, and because we're headlining it'll be just like what we do in LA @ The Troubadour, only in a different city! If you've been wanting to share our live performance with friends of yours that live outside of LA, now is the time to hit them up! Each set is gonna be a full fledged show - this ain't gonna be no opening act tour ladies and gents!
