Rich Shapero

RICH SHAPERO is a musician and novelist experimenting with a new storytelling art form that intricately interweaves book and music. His first project is called Wild Animus. Wild Animus, the novel (released in 2004), tells the story of a man whose quest for the foundations of the heart drives him to the Alaskan wilderness where, alone with his dangerous ideas, he transforms himself into a wild creature pursued by a pack of strangely familiar wolves. Shapero's newly released music CD, The Ram, the first in a three-CD series, unveils the emotional core of the Wild Animus experience. Contributing musicians include Marc Ribot, Jim Campilongo, Charles Bissell, Jim Keltner, Iva Bittova, Hutch Hutchinson, and many more.

Visit the official Rich Shapero store at:
http://richshapero.shop.musictoday.com/

Visit Rich Shapero's website at:

http://richshapero.com

Re: What do you think of Cock and Spring?

I don't like country at all, but I still like it. For me it's more about the message - I like the nature theme. I guess I like country music when it's about the actual country - the land. I think you have to listen to the whole album, not just Cock and Spring - to really get the feel for his stuff. Trippy.
