Hey everybody!

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend wherever you are.

It has been a few since I have last blogged so let me play some catch up with you all. I had an incredible writing session with Kaci Bolls on Thursday. It is far and in between that you can walk into a session with a writer you have not worked with and knock one out of the park!

I believe we did and I am looking forward to our next "gathering of the minds".

On Friday I was off to North West Arkansas where I got to preform for the wonderful people at the Wal-Mart headquarters. As of the last few months Walmart's from across the nation have raised over ten and a half million dollars for Childrens Miracle Network.
Thats one dollar at a time folks!! Wow! My hats off to all of you that are making a difference for the greater good of someone else's life.

"Like my dog" was a smash! It is truly one of my favorite songs. Harley Allen and Scotty Emerick put there brilliant minds together to write it. I love this song.

I tell you, you gotta love dogs. When it seems like there is not one single living being in this world that loves you, a dog will come along to prove you wrong.

Getting back to the grind stone here in Nashville.

Setting up some writing gigs with some great songwriter friends of mine for the next few weeks. I normally try to have at least three writing sessions a week if I am not on the road.

Speaking of being on the road, I will be heading to Arkansas on Friday for a quick Childrens Miracle Network event. Mark Wills and I will be doing a "writers in the round "kinda thing.

Should be a lot of fun!!
