Hey Guys!

So the holiday break is officially over! :-( lol I had a really great time catching up with my friends and not having to do too much schoolwork but it's kind of nice to be back on set. It's really fun working on iCarly and I have known most of the crew since I was really little so it's like a family. :-) Over the break I actually started working on a really cute animated movie called "Despicable Me". I'm so excited to be a part of it. I got to go in a few days ago and see my character and hear all about the movie. The animator actually animated "Ratatouille" which is one of my favorite animated films! lol It's so funny seeing your voice come out of an animated character and it's a comedy so it's been a lot of fun! They have been letting me come up with some of the lines and stuff and get really into it! My character is Steve Carell's adopted daughter lol. Also there are a lot of great comedians in the movie that I really look up to like Steve Carell, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews,Jason Segal and a lot of other really funny people. I can't wait for you guys to see it!

I'm also working on some more songs for my CD. Ever since I started playing guitar when I was little I have always tried to write songs but I wasn't really sure about how good they were lol. When I first started writing with people for my CD I was really nervous about getting in there and telling them all my ideas. Now it's my favorite part! I'm really lucky to be working with great people that are a blast to write with. I hope you guys have as much fun listening to my songs as I have had getting to record them.

Lastly, the other day my best friend came over and we choreographed a dance to the song "Circus" by Britney Spears. It's the dorkiest, worst dance on earth lol. It was so much fun though! We were cracking up. Yeah....we were pretty bored haha. Now every time the song comes on we laugh. That randomly popped in my mind lol.

Ohhh and I wanted to ask you guys how your break was and what your fave songs are right now? I love "Hot n Cold" by Katy Perry sooo much. Well that's all for now, I hope you guys are having fun back at school and aren't too sad the break is over. :-)

Hey Everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I can't believe 2008 is actually ending! I had a really fun year! I got to make a bunch of new iCarly episodes and do a bunch of crazy funny things this season! I also got to work on my cd which has been really exciting! I love getting to go into the studio to write and sing songs knowing you guys will get to hear them soon! I never thought I would get to work with music producers that write songs for some of my favorite artists! Also, I have had some really great times with all my friends! I have had a million embarrassing moments this year but I wouldn't take it back even if I could. (my friends like making fun of me too much! haha) I got to travel a lot this year too and see beautiful countries I had always dreamed of seeing. I really hope everyone had a great year and I hope 2009 is even better! Oh and I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday break! I've been having a really nice time hanging out with my family and friends. I've been horseback riding a lot during the break and I even talked my best friend into coming with me! She was really scared at first because she hadn't ever ridden a horse but now she loves it! The horse I ride is really sweet. Her name is Annie(that's such a cute name lol) and she can eat like 40 carrots in under a minute (okay maybe not that many but quite a few lol). Lastly, I got some pretty cool gifts for Christmas! I got a new acoustic guitar and a new video camera. I'm going to have to start making some videos! lol Ohhh and the coolest gift I received is....A MARSHMALLOW SHOOTER! Omg it's so much fun!!! My friend who gave it to me also got one for herself and we have marshmallow fights now all the time! hahaa Well that's all for now 2009 ROCKS!

Happy Thanksgiving and More!

Heyyyy!

I just wanted to check in really quick and let everyone know I hope they had an awesome Thanksgiving! I got to perform in the Macy's Day Parade and it was super fun! I was extremely cold haha but I had a great time anyways. I watch the parade every year so to get to actually be in it was the coolest thing ever! I was on the Build a Bear float and there were a bunch of kids on it with me dressed up in bear outfits. They were all really sweet but I kinda wanted to steal one of their outfits because they looked really warm lol. I also got to see David Archuleta and he was on iCarly recently so it was really great getting to see him again. He's soooo nice and funny! After the parade I headed to the airport to go Milan, Italy! It's my first time ever coming here and it's so beautiful! When I first landed it was snowing which made it even better because I'm from L.A. so I don't see snow very often. Earlier today I was on TRL and it was pretty cool because the hosts here know how to speak Italian and English. They would ask me a question in English and then translate in Italian. I talk really fast so it was probably hard for them lol. The main reason I got to come to Italy is for the Kids Choice Awards! They are in two days here and I'm soo excited! I heard there is going to be a ton of slime and some musical acts! I've been getting to travel a lot lately for the Kids Choice awards in all the different countries. Recently I went to Germany and London. I'm trying to learn a few phrases from each country but I'm not the quickest with languages. So far all I know how to say in Italian is Ciao :-P haha. Not too impressive. After this I'm heading back to L.A. for the premiere of "Merry Christmas Drake and Josh"! I can't wait for that because I love everyone from the show so much. Every person that was on Drake in Josh is in the movie so it's going to be a pretty crazy after party! Also I just finished a music video for a song I did called "About You Now" (it was on the iCarly cd). It's a cover of a Sugarbabes song (an awesome band from England) that I heard and loved. I was lucky enough to get to record it! Even though it's a cover song I really can relate to it. It's all about how sometimes you wish you could go back in time because you made a mistake and you know what to do now but it's too late. I think everyone kind of feels that way every once and a while. I had a blast because all my real friends were in the video with me and there was a super cute guy in it too. We shot the video at a mall so we got to go shopping and hang out all day. I have a really cool band and they are also in the vid. They are the nicest guys ever and they are always joking around! The video is going to premiere after the Drake and Josh movie (December 5th on Nickelodeon) so check it out if you get a chance! I really hope you guys like it and hope you are all having a rockin thanksgiving break!
