      <description>"The L Word"s Guinevere Turner at Opening Night Party of LGBTQ Cinema&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In a gala evening celebrating the achievements of women filmmakers &lt;br/&gt;specializing in lesbian-gay-bisexual-transperson-queer cinema, the 2007 San &lt;br/&gt;Francisco Women's Film Festival fills up 12 Galaxies with outstanding &lt;br/&gt;films, Q&amp;As with directors, dancing, catering from High Art Catering and &lt;br/&gt;a live DJ. Special guest Guinevere Turner has appeared in films "Go &lt;br/&gt;Fish," "Chasing Amy," "Dogma" and more, and co-wrote "American Psycho," &lt;br/&gt;"The Notorious Bettie Page," and the television series, "The L Word."&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The 2007 San Francisco Women's Film Festival kicks off April 11th with &lt;br/&gt;an opening night screening and party at 12 Galaxies. Join as we pay &lt;br/&gt;tribute to independent film director Guinevere Turner. Guinevere Turner, &lt;br/&gt;who has appeared in such films as "Go Fish," "Chasing Amy," "Dogma" and &lt;br/&gt;"Kiss Me, Guido." Additionally, she has co-written many works, &lt;br/&gt;including "American Psycho," "The Notorious Bettie Page," and the television &lt;br/&gt;series, "The L Word." Not only will we see some of her films, but also &lt;br/&gt;she will be on hand for a Q&amp;A session. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The evening presents achievements made by women filmmakers in LGBTQ &lt;br/&gt;cinema, showing short by various international and local filmmakers, &lt;br/&gt;including a preview of Lynn Breedlove's last film, "Godspeed." &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Opening Night's festivities begin at 7PM with musical act Trusting Lucy, screening of shorts films &lt;br/&gt;and a Q&amp;A, followed by dancing and live DJ.
