West Indian Girl Goes On GREEN Tour!!

West Indian Girl will be spreading their eclectic sound of what Rolling Stone calls “sweepingly, sun-drenched sonic pop” to over a dozen cities and major music festivals this summer. Offering a mix of dance beats, catchy melodies, and electronic sounds, West Indian Girl is a must see live show. The band will be kicking off their July tour in Kansas City and working their way up through the northeast then back out to the west coast, hitting cities such as Boston, NYC, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Detroit. Highlights of the tour include the always-good ALL GOOD Music Festival in Masontown, West Virginia. As well as the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco where they will share the stage with bands like Modest Mouse and Thievery Corporation.

The band’s ambition to play live music is matched with their goal to promote in their 2nd LP, scheduled to be released this fall on Milan Records. According to bass player Francis Ten, the new album pushes their music to a new level using uber fresh energy.

In addition to promoting their new album, the environmentally conscious West Indian Girl will be spreading Eco-awareness by touring with a sustainable veggie-oil RV that they had converted by Green Eye Autos, a company dedicated to helping people fight global climate change. Make sure to check out the tour dates for when West Indian Girl will be coming to your area!
