Announcer: An announcement form representatives/the sports festival is temporarily on hold… The cheerleading contest has been decided as invalid

Voice: Except for the victim fainting, no one has been hurt/ such an accident has never been seen before… For those waiting to catch they call them just in case powers students and those responsible for this event?

Boy: Um, it just that... I can't remember anything from the accident… all of a sudden my powers didn't work, my head went blank...

voice: Then it was by representative Sakurano's powers that the fall was stopped just in time and your power?

Boy: I tried my best to use it....I think.....

Voice: this is very strange/ he is an excellent receiver student, until now not once has he ever
had any unevenness of his powers... earlier, he used his Alice during tests... And he's not the type of student to play tricks…

CHAPTER 84

The chapter opened with Luna's last words; "Anyway,
they will be pulled apart by destiny after all...faraway..."

Natsume wanted to say
something but was cut by Luna; "Well, it is going to turn out that way
anyway. However, whether or not she (Mikan) would be that happy after all is
another story..." Luna then walked away but Natsume went after her;
"Wait, you bastard"

The scene changes to Mikan and company
going for lunch. She was looking very forward to the lunch menu only to know
that each lunch menu was different according to the different star rankings.
She was very disappointed after looking at what Hotaru will be eating. But that
was nothing compared with having to eat with Jin-Jin (Apparently he was STILL
very unpleased with the 'cosplay' incident) Then, Ruka came over. (Some
students at the back were asking him to join them for lunch)

RUKA ASKED MIKAN FOR LUNCH TOGETHER!!!!

Mikan was happy about it because she thought it would be more fun having Ruka
in her company of friends for lunch. That also, attracted some attention at the
back. However, friends whom Mikan were suppose to have lunch together with,
Kokoroyomi-kun, Kitsuneme-kun, Hotaru-chan and Iinchou immediately packed and
wanted to leave the 2 of them together for lunch. Both Kokoroyomi &
Kitsuneme made a 'stop' sign with their hands saying; "because they were
the duo in amongst the rumours". Mikan was puzzled by the words they said.
But she continued persuading her friends to eat with her. However...

Kitsuneme; "I said no~~ Madam~~" (in that case, Kokoroyomi said
'Oku-san', meaning wife of somebody in Japanese) At the back of Kitsuneme's
shirt printed; "The first step to Ruka-pyon's adulthood" "We
just saw the good setting of the both of you earlier" "We didn't want
to get involve Ohohohohohohoho" At the back of Kokoroyomi's shirt printed,
"Appeared"

Kokoroyomi continued; "Because you see, Ruka-pyon acted like as though he
was confessing his love earlier (some small letters printed in the speech
bubble said; "Today's Kokoroyomi is Kuuki-yomi ("air"-reader; in
this case, 'air' refers to 'atmosphere')"

After Kokoroyomi said that, some students were discussing if they were already
a pair. Hotaru seems concerned when she turned and looked the two behind. Mikan
asked; "By the way, where's Natsume?" She felt uneasy that people's
eyes were on them as she and Ruka were together. Mikan; "Ah! No no no!! I
am not saying that I want to have lunch with him!!! Just that... I thought if
he's not with Ruka-pyon, perhaps he would be eating alone.... I wonder where he
would be eating at..." "Natsume is...." said a voice from
behind; "If you're looking for Natsume.... he chased after Luna and the
both of them disappeared to somewhere..." Mikan shouted;
"PERM!!!!" Sumire continued; "I AM SO PISSED. THAT LUNA!"
Both Mikan and Ruka were shocked to see her talk. "To think that that girl
can make Natsume go after her! Just what kind of trick did she use?!"
Mikan was surprised to hear that from Sumire. "Natsume-kun too!! Just what
is so nice about that girl???!!!!.... Right now I bet the 2 of them are
together..." Sumire added. Mikan was sad after hearing that. Then, Sumire
turned to the both Ruka and Mikan and said; "BY.THE.WAY. Rumors about the
two of you are going out went into my ears...COULD.IT.BE...?" Mikan explained;
"How could it be??h very shocked. Sumire said; "Oh is it? Then its ok,"
She then joined the rest for lunch together. Little did Mikan and the rest knew
that Natsume was only behind them. He has been hiding and watching from behind.
Meanwhile, there was an announcement made to gather participants for the next
sports item - Item-Borrowing Run.

Natsume was still looking at Ruka and Mikan from where he was standing. He saw
how happy Mikan was with Ruka and he was reminded of how Ruka called Mikan earlier
after his run, made him wanted to hide himself from them. He saw a random on
the bench near him; he picked up the mask and put it on. That mask that Natsume
had on his face was an ALICE
mask belonging to a student, Kusami. Just then, a boy kicked Natsume from
behind the minute after Natsume had the mask on and said; "OI YOU! That
participant over there! Where do you think you're going??!! Go and get ready
now!!!" Kusami was supposing the participant for the next item but because
Natsume's and his hairstyles were about the same, it was no difference on the
outside as to who is who. Natsume was pissed with that boy's attitude. A boy
said; "That mask... You must be Kusami-kun from the junior department!
Quickly go and queue together with the other participants!!" and that boy
threw Natsume over with the other participants. Natsume thought;
"Item-Borrowing Race?h He was very lost as to what had just happened. "The
Item-Borrowing Race will now commence! Rules are simple, in the middle of the
route; there will be a box with lots. Participants will have to borrow the
item, be it a human or a thing, and run together with the borrowed item to the
goal line! That's it!" Just then, friends of Kusami mistook Natsume for
him came over to him to wish him luck. One of them gave Natsume a hit at the
back while the other called him an idiot because he was 'daydreaming'. Natsume
was very unpleased with their attitude that one of them said; "What...what
is with this sense of danger aura...?" Natsume then began thinking on his
own and figured who Kusami was. He was the owner of that mask. Now that he was
calmer, he looked around at the other participants. They include Misaki-sensei,
Serina-sensei, Subaru and the rest. Natsume went "..." after looking
around.

"HOWEVER!!! As expected of ALICE
Academy!
The paper used for the lot is specially designed in a way that the item to be
borrowed will be the thing that will not be an easy thing for the participant
to borrow! For example, to a participant that has a teacher he hates, he would
have to bring the teacher here and run to the goal line with him! After the
item was borrowed, whatever that was written on the paper will be revealed in a
form of fireworks in the school. The judges will judge if the results were
'acceptable', 'somehow' or 'not acceptable' based on the fireworks!

If
the result was 'acceptable', the team receives 50 points!

If the result was 'somehow', the team receives 10 points!

If the result was 'not acceptable', the team loses 10 points!"

Upon hearing that, Natsume had a funny expression on his face. In his heart he
was imagining the words written on the paper to be exploded into the air as
fireworks. He thought, what's with this race? I should slip myself out soon...

Unfortunately... Someone said; "Where did you think you're going?"
said someone. "Let the race begin!" said the announcer. "Aren't
you getting ready?" continued that boy who stopped Natsume. At the same
time, Mikan and friends had made it to watch the race. They saw Misaki-sensei,
Serina-sensei and Yuri-senpai running in the race. Ruka was wondering where
Natsume had gone to.

It was about time for the 2nd lane runners to run.

Natsume was very pissed.

In the meantime, this is the position of the runners in the race:

1- Misaki-sensei

2- Yuri-sama (
3- XX-Kun

4- Serina-sensei

And the teachers drew their lots! The
things that they had to borrow...

Misaki-sensei - Erai Chibi (literally translated = Great Midget)

Serina-sensei - Uzai Douryou (literally translated = Annoying Colleague)

Yuri-senpai - a girl that loves girls

XX-kun - a baldy's wig used to hide his baldy head

The first thing that came to each's minds (XX-kun was not mentioned, because he
is just a random anonymous character) were

Misaki-sensei - School's principal (that shortie xD)

Serina-sensei - JIN-JIN! (He IS really that annoying eh?)

Yuri-senpai - can't remember the name, but it was that girl in the Flower Party
that drooled at the sight of Hotaru

all of them were stunned to see what they have seen. All of them felt that that
piece of paper had no mercy at all.... They had no choice but to run and borrow
the items written on each piece of paper. Meantime, the other runners had
reached the middle point of the race. This time, Subaru was the first to pick
his lot. He was shocked to see, "The number 1 most loved younger
sister" on his paper. He was stoned there for some time while Hotaru,
seemed to know what was written on that piece of paper let out a scary laughter
that frightened Mikan. At the same time, Misaki-sensei approached Iinchou,
asking him for help. Then, Natsume picked his lot. He looked at it and
remembered the way Ruka called out to Mikan earlier in the race. Just then, the
other runners had reached the goal line one by one. Instead of pulling who the
runners had thought of at first, they picked 'substitutes'. Serina-sensei
picked Narumi, Misaki-sensei picked Iinchou, Yuri-senpai picked Yamauchi (poor
Yuri-senpai... she was apologizing and apologizing when the fireworks of the words
written on the piece of paper appeared in the sky xD) XX-Kun picked someone
with HAIR wearing a wig (that boy he picked was crying after he saw the
results...) The panel of judges (Kokoroyomi was one of them) gave the teachers
10 points each while XX-kun loses 10 points. Subaru was still stoning and
Hotaru was looking at him. Just then, someone came and pulled Mikan away. It
was NATSUME!!!!! He was pulling Mikan and running with her to the goal line!
Mikan was surprised and wondered who that person was. Both of them crossed the
line, and the words on the paper exploded into pretty fireworks in the air.....
It read,

*PLEASE BREATHE NATSUME & MIKAN FANS*

SUKI NA HITO
[SOMEONE I LIKED] i†¤… Way to go Natsume!)

The announcer thought that the masked guy was Kusami and was excited to see
that all-time favourite item in this race! However, Ruka somehow knew that that
person was Natsume from his back view. The judges gave Natsume's results a
perfect! The announcer then continued saying that his love confession was a
success! Natsume then ran away. Mikan was still wondering who that person was
until she caught a glimpse of Natsume's earrings. Natsume ran towards the
building and Mikan was going after him. In that building, Kusami saw Natsume.
Kusami said; "Wait! My imposter! I saw everything!!! Return my..."
*PA!* Natsume slapped Kusami's mask onto his face. Kusami continued; "Ah,
wait!" But Natsume ran away. Mikan finally caught up but Natsume was still
too fast for her. She shouted; "WAIT!" Could it be, she thought. At
that important junction, Kusami sneezed...

That's right, Kusami's ALICE was "Storm-like Sneezing" and it was so
powerful that he needed an ALICE mask to control it, he was without his mask
when he sneezed, thus Mikan was 'blown' away by him. Mikan fell unconscious but
when she woke up, she found herself surrounded by Hotaru and friends. She asked
about the Item-Borrowing Race, Hotaru said;

"It was over. Red Team won," Mikan said; "Heh?" Ruka said;
"It was discovered that some mystery person instead of the original runner
had run the race. As penalty, the team lost. However, because that piece of
paper that Natsume had picked, representing a love confession, during the race
was left over, everyone was dying to find out who that runner was."
Somehow Mikan had a feeling that it was Natsume... Everyone's hearts was
left with something by the culprit, but the culprit himself was still hiding
away in the forest... END.

GakUeN ALice ManGa, chapTer 83 (suMmarY)

CHAPTER 83

Title: Our friendship (Mikan &
Hotaru) is as sweet and soft as sweets (candy)

Mikan: {Hello everyone! This is Sakura Mikan / We are
right in the middle of the

sports festival's first half main even: the obsticle
relay!}

Mikan:{The audience. All of school's students are
excited!!}

Mikan:{but us members of the race are totally unexcited
over the relay's extreme traps}

And so continues the relay. The contestants are in front
of the cosplay changing trap, which Hotaru had entered first and

ended up turning into a "tarako" suit. Next is
Jinno's turn. Right now it's Hotaru who's first in the race. Jinno finally

gets the nerve and enters the cosplay door.

Everyone: "We wanna see, but we don't wanna
see......"

Jinno comes out. Everyone freezes. It's ! It's!
Unbelievable!! HG!!(Check end of text for more) Hard Gay Jinno!!

Audiences in the stands are laughing, taking
pictures...but their cameras quickly get roasted by Jinno's angry lightning.

The contestants don't dare to laugh. They know with Jinno
in a terrible humor, no one can live through his lighting if it hits.

Next is Tono's turn. He reluctantly enters the door to
cosplay hell. But, Lucky Tono! He got the standard Pirate costume...with

a very heavy chain on his leg. The crowd i booing:” It’s
not funny!" (Well who wouldn't be disappointed after of a pirate after

seeing HG Jinno) Tono is slowly dragging his heavily
chained leg: “I can't move my leg" from behind comes a totally
expressionless

Bunny rabbit costumed Yamanaouchi. She's running fast,
and jumps over Tono. She got lucky too, her costume has "rabbit leg"
powers.

The crowd is cheering, some loving the little bit scary
expressionless face and ultra cute bunny costume gap.

And now, Jinno is 1st, rabbit 2nd, Tara Hotaru 3rd, Baka
Tono 4rth. But oh my! White team C’s cosplay contestant got the worst costume!

it's a mountain! He can't move so it's been decided that
team will be last in the race. Perm is worried since they are also part of the white team.

But looking at Mikan, all Ruka can think of is he doesn't
want to loose.

Oh! My! Everybody freezes again! now it's Misaki-senpai
who came out of the cosplay door in an ultra sexy Oni-girl suit (Urusei yatsura
Lum, for those who know)

The male audience is happy. Camera's are flashing. Poor
Misaki, embarassed. She runs with all her might. Natsume looking at the
situation:" crazy battle. isn't it..."

Perm doesn't want Natsume or Ruka to look so much at sexy
Misaki.Misaki's ready to hand over the baton to Tsubasa, but he just can't stop
staring at her.

With a strong punch to his face, Misaki: Just hurry and
take it! Don't look! How long ae you going to make me pass you the baton?!

Hotaru is totally out of breath after jumping in her
legless tarako suit. She's trying to reach Natsume to pass the baton. But
Natsume's expression

mercilessly is telling her, "Just hurry up".
Pissed off Hotaru throse the baton on the floor. "Go get it
yourself".

The third obstacle area. Its Kitsuneme-kun in 1st
position, Tsubasa's 3rd to aarrive. a huge pond they have to cross without
setting foot in the water.

There are a few objects they can use to try and cross the
pond. Natsume's almost reached there. Dragging is Tono, trying to reach
Sakurano to pass the

baton. Tono:"That's greeat, with your teleport you
can pass everyone, Sakurano!." Sakurano:"Stop talking and walk,
useless."

Kitsuneme kun easily flies over the pond with his alice. The 2nd boy in the race tried to use poles but tripped. Tsubasa
uses the opportunity

by passing by the boy's shadow. Makes the shadow which
crossed the pond to pull his body over. An unusual use of alice no one's ever seen.

Natsume pole jumps over the pond kicking Tsubasa in
landing. Natsume is now running in 1st position, Kitsuneme 2nd Tsubasa 3rd.Ruka
and Sakurano

have finally gotten the baton. Ruka:" I don't want
to loose this fight. I'm not giving up 'till the end."

Sakurano teleports across the pond. Ruka calls up a huge
bird and flies over the pond. The crowd, the contestants, everyone is

excited. Ruka: "Just look, Sakura...". It's a
fight between Natsume and Tsubasa for the 1st and 2nd position. They arrive at
the next trap.

The last trap has a box they have to pick from. Ruka
still running with all his might, "I can't reach them..." He trips
and twists his ankle.

Mikan:"Ruka-pyon" Ruka remembers her telling
him"let'sdo our best". Though his ankle hurts, Ruka gets up and runs.

The last trap is?! You gotta bring the animal you picked
out of the box to the goal!! Natsume picked Pyo. And Pyo has no intention of
moving.

Tsubasa picks and ultra fast monkey, which he can't seem
to catch. Kitsuneme runs scared out of the race after picking Mr. Bear.
