It's like i'm a rainbow...a mirage. You may never know when I'll appear!

I try to do good. I honestly do. Sometimes it just doesn’t pan out.

hey, I know what you're saying, "Negro! where the eff have YOU been? I'm sick of you dissing me!" "You think you can just come up here and be posting and coming and going anytime as you please?!!" But I know you wouldn't spaz on me like that, now would you? Nah, I didn't think so!!

Plus, you know I always seem to find my way back home to you. ;-) There are a lot of really exciting things going on around in my world at present, and since not to mention, it's EARLY IN THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING and i should be counting zzzz's right now, but all I can think about this morning is N*E*R*D!!! So, I thought I’d spring it on you now. wrote a song about it. like to hear it? here it goes!! well it's not actually a song, more like a congradulatory essay/blog/review to n.e.r.d. hehe. ;-)

So, i have met many exceptionally talented players who see sound as color in their minds eye and I stated in a recent thread that this is known as Synesthesia, this does apply same to me and this condition is said to be a useful benchmark for very high level talent. Music, the brain, and ecstasy: Oh, how music captures our imagination!! Ok, so there's been a lot of chit chat ruckus about the new 'ambient' releases worth checking out, so you know I have to drop in something from my favorite band of listening pleasure, N.E.R.D. I’ve got alot of praise to heap, and you know I'm gonna lay some descriptives on y’all. So, without further ado, here’s the skinny.

As you all may know, N.E.R.D releases their third studio album and Seeing Sounds has finally surfaced...If you didn't know you could "SEE" sounds, I’d would have to say that this album demands your immediate attention!

This album cover pushed me over. It just cranks up the intensity even more! And i'm going to have to say it. this is the Album of the YEAR itself!

What a welcome head-fuck! THANK YOU N.E.R.D!!!!! :-) :-) Seeing Sounds is dope, that’s a given and a conclusion at this point!!

"Seeing Sounds" makes sweet musical love to my earholes!! It tickles my imagination. This cd is my solace, a balm and a tonic, and a window to different worlds. You have the feeling in listening to this music that their speaking directly to you. N.E.R.D.'s music is a vivid wakeup call to the wonders and miracles of life. They are like the genius Oscar Wilde of this rap shit: virtually every piece on this fine album is an honest expression of pure love, conveyed through an amazing electronic artistry. "Seeing Sounds" puts me vividly in touch with the people and places I love. It's lush, relaxing, delicate, calculated but not self-censored, rough and hardcore but not lacking in aptitude and straight to the bone!! It's a total head fuck audio orgasm!! N.E.R.D's music is a complete mad assault on my senses and with their beautiful sound it takes their listener into another dimension altogether. I really believe this music "comes from above!!" :-) My senses have been royally fucked! My senses of hearing, sight, smell, taste, feel have all been equally heightened and blessed! N.E.R.D. totally executed this album and wanted to capture the feel, the sound, the taste and the smell of an incredible album and they certainly was able to do so and then some! All my senses came to life upon listening to this cd!

This is the soundtrack to ride your bike, fly your plane, blow your mind, to move! The album, "Seeing Sounds" by N*E*R*D, has got to be one of the best piece of music I've heard in a long time. With it's moods of energy being generated by their instruments and vocals just puts me in a great mood. I love every second of it, and can’t stop playing it. All of the songs paint symphonious audio paintings in my mind with individual stories told in a dual monotone, illuminating; stimulating tones, vocals, textures, lyrics, movement abound at the same time, making "Seeing Sounds" true to its own name. This is spacemusic in every sense of the word. You will luxuriate in an expansive spaciness that's relaxing, even as it blows your speakers out. It will take you into the presence of God through honest lyrics and rocking, tasteful music. These fine choons are loaded with Pharrell's mad rocket-scientist persona, filled with soulful vocals, yummy hooks, smashing beats.. dream pop, epic and cinematic stimulants for both the senses and the sensibilities. I won't break down the individual tracks here, but suffice it to say that I think these songs tap into universal themes everyone can relate to. Plus, I don't wanna spoil it or ruin the mood for you! It's all in the ear of the beholder. I want this CD to be a more personal experience. I want it to resonate within you on a personal level. I want you to "see" it for yourself. I want you to make your own impressions and opinions. I will tell you this though. It is a tour-de-force of raw emotion, it;s visceral, vibrant like a rock opera of raw emotional power!!!

This is new consciousness cosmic music. It's like a journey, through childhood, in search of beauty; to the edge of one’s dreams, seeking out the true soul and finding the whole fantastic world in a knapsack of mystery and returning to the womb in time for brunch. N.E.R.D. are rock legends, and they are someone who actually transcends the genre. On this new record, Seeing Sounds, N-E-R-D displays kind of a more personal invitation aesthetic or intimate setting, personal approach. It's like someone is whispering to you in the dark.That's where the listener comes in. I believe that N*E*R*D invites the listener to insert him or herself into the mix. It's the audio equivalent of a first-person shooter video game. It even sounds like something that might be blasting from a futuristic arcade.

Via interactive imagination. This CD captures a man/woman in their element, in their time, doing what they was put on this earth to do, without shame and without remorse. To put it simply, they play and sing every note as if it were their last. They seize the day and lays bare their passions. This is more than music, it is a lesson on how to live your life! Once again, it's the life!!

N.E.R.D, let me tell you. They know how to fuck with your mind. They know how to touch people, how to lift your spirits and get u to aspire to something better. They speak to your heart. Their shows are, in many ways, a religious experience-with ONE IMPORTANT DISTINCTION. It is all-inclusive. It's all there for the asking. You don't have to be a certain type of person, or subscribe to a particular set of beliefs in order to be a part of them. All you have to do is say "Yes, my heart is open. I want to be happy.". understand that, above all, music is a means of communication. It is a way to connect with your fellow man and find common ground. Their not isolating anyone from their audience. N.E.R.D always adds their own soundtrack behind them. Their movement as a whole simply gives us a mechanism through which to express our unique set of attitudes and beliefs. And I think they do so skillfully. They help give you pure freedom of speech, to be your own man. Their unapologetic, censorship need not apply. They set their own goddamn rules!! (sorry,lol) N.E.R.D is all about embracing who you are. Their not talking about things that others can't understand. Their not trying to be vague and inscrutable. Their idealists, humanists, and they are using their medium to push us all to higher ground.

Listening to the album becomes a doubly satisfying experience. This album gives the listener a taste of both well written and developed instrumental compositions as well as some talented, lyrical songwriting, from pioneering spastic hardcore rhythms to masters of exquisite, triumphant beats dipping the listener in style after style. Their music is like married to the visuals. It's exactly what it's meant to be. It's emotional, it's raw, it's honest. After hearing this CD I can honestly say that there is a force in the universe that moves us from within, and one of it's manifestations is N*E*R*D!!! :-)

Damn!! The whole rekkid is BOMB ASS, my words escape me, I just don't know how to explain it to you enough!! All I know is that, I fucking LOVE every single track and I'm satisfied and pleased. Thank you NERD, for sonically, emotionally, intellectually, physically, spiritually and mentally rocking my senses! I really appreciate the introspect that went into this CD. Buy this CD and you'll feel like you've attended the greatest party ever. GO and SUPPORT GOOD, QUALITY MUSIC and BUY this record. It will all be crystal clear soon to you, you will reach the highest summit of your dreams. You'll be on this high euphoric level once you reach it, and you'll know when you feel it! All the songs are bombastic and groove-y and fuzzy as hell, but "Love Bomb" will be the one you remember. It's huge!! Almost 10 seconds in. It sucks you in. It will make your head spin. It's plunged with a bass riff that will stick in your head. The lyric's are about something that exists simply because it doesn't. It's a magnificent way to end the album. If you were ever a fan of N.E.R.D in their heyday - and you got to see them live, this will take you back.

Seeing Sounds. It's here. You'll love it and i feel grateful to N.E.R.D for sharing their art with the world, for having the dedication and commitment to deliver nothing but perfection and excellence!! Their hearts, bodies and mind bleed for the music and it's shown gloriously within this album!! Go with an open mind, and let it take you where it will.

I don't know what else to say...

So now, I'm going back to listening.... :-)

what up ninjas! What a bomb-ass day; this is. hey y’all — a gorgeous gorgeous day here, I'm just here chillin’, kickin', pushin', and coastin, maxin’,incubating. hibernating. gettin’ caught up? naaaaah, not really. one of these days i’ll be up on gettin’ back to everybody everybody who i love love love until then, these blogs are gonna hafta do (whack!) relaxin’... with a big-ass tub of sugar-sweet lemonade. Needed to stay on the under for a lil lil bit… It feels good to rest at home once in a while. for once right? for once!! finally feeling back in my body, back in my clock, back in my home after that crazy-ass few weeks of travelling and hustlin’ to get everything back on point.

It's been a paradigm flipping kinda couple of weeks. so where to start even where to begin?
