What's up peeps? It's been a minute, but thought I would do a quick blog to share a few things:

¤   Ah yeah! I'll be partaking of the happenings in Miami for the Winter Music Conference (WMC)
from March 20th-25th. I'm excited...it'll be my 1st time attending the
WMC & my 1st time in MIA...& after 2 weeks of cold & random
snow, then some Spring like weather to come out of nowhere for a
minute, I think I'm ready to getaway! So, hit me up if you'll be down
or are already in the area.

¤   Also, I got a chance to feel extra special earlier this week. My cyberbuddy & a very influential DJ for me, DJ Miss Brownsugar, asked me to be part of the Freeground Collective based in Switzerland. Of course I accepted...nevermind the fact I can't read a thing on their website

¤   All I got to say is that Mark de Clive-Lowe will be coming in from London to ATL to do a live set with Julie Dexter on vocals & Lil John on drums, March 9th @ Slice, followed by a DJ set @ The Mark.   And then MC Lyte, performing @ Sugar Hill on that Sunday March 11th...woo hoo!

Now...I've heard some interesting stories of how people have stumbled
across my profile, but the most amusing are the ones that tell me how
they just had to find out who was behind that "sneaky looking"
avatar/photo of mine Actually, I think I'm pretty harmless, but nobody seems to believe me.   But I had to share the most entertaining story so far (sent to me by a Last.fm user):

"I kept running into you! Well that Pic..Drawing..Avatar of yours! If I
went in a groups members, a search (people who like Jill, Madlib,etc),
someone's profile there you are! And I'm thinking,"How can she be
following me if she's already there?"

So off top I'm thinking, "Is she white or black? She could be light
skinned or she could have a tan..I mean the hair is straight but that
could be a perm..weave...She could be a Mamicita? I must know, I must
find the Sorceress behind this Sorcery! So I rapped to you an here we
are!"

I've been called many things, but sorceress...now that's a new one! Guess Fabian accomplished getting me an eye catching image/representation, thanks man!
