Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII [ summary of the plot ]

The game released in 2007 only and exclusively on the Playstation Portable.
It’s another prequel after Before Crisis to the relevant events known from Final Fantasy VII.

In this version, that’s taking place more or less simultaneously with the action of Before Crisis, we get to know the fate of a member of powerful organizations SOLDIER - basic, armed forces corporations Shin-Ra. As a basic soldier 2nd class we shall head into the enemy’s territory to, by ourself, take part in one of the final skirmish with Wutai’s hostile nation, which is opposed to interference technology stealing energy from earth by Shin-Ra on their own areas.

Zack Fair, ‘couse that’s the name of the main protagonist of this story, is a young man with rash character, great courage and childhood dreams to become a hero. While working for SOLDIER he performs dangerous tasks, all for one purpose -to finally become an elite soldier 1st class, like his mentor Angeal, dressed in a red coat Genesis or the strongest of them all – silver haired Sephiroth.

Game, with each subsequent hour shows us the increasingly darker face of Shin-Ra corporation, leading a secret and unethical testing on their soldiers. For the first time, there is also the complete information about Jenova - being that fell from space 2000 years ago and is located in a well-hidden spot, still studied by scientists from the corporation.
The cells of Jenova are used as a trial measure to increase the fighting capabilities of SOLDIER, while stirring them significantly in the DNA. Hidden research is not always proved to be successful, which effect are wild beasts running around the planet - failed experiments of Shin-Ra. Failed experiment also proved to be Angeal and Genesis, who, although seemingly human and righteous, with every passing day became more and more closer to their wild brethren, creatures hidden high in the mountains and deep in the depths. Two 1st class soldiers pronounce Shin-Ra crusade, which only Sephiroth and growing every day in the power, Zack can stop.
Unfortunately, during a mission in the town of Nibelheim the silver haired man discovers the truth about himself, as a perfect creation, which is the crowning foul and inhumane research of Shin-Ra. Perfect soldier, a real monster in human skin, without any symptoms occurring in the previous specimens. Sephiroth, in distraught murder the whole town, and finds his "mother" - Jenova. And than hebattle with Zack, which, unfortunately, our heero loses. Fortunately, his friend Cloud shows up - simple private, who saves his life by pierceing, unexpectedly, Sephiroth with Zack’s sword. Sephirot escapes with the head of Jenova.

In the time we get to know the details of the project "S", the creating of Sephiroth and the draft "G", which the final stadium were Genesis and Angeal. The last two are, however, defeated by Zack after the incident in Nibelheim, while he and Cloud are put under the sme experiment, which has Sephiroth been previously in.

Zack & Cloud, with Jenova’s cells, wish to resign from SOLDIER, this, however, becomes impossible, which lead the two to flee as far as possible from Shin-Ra. After Zack is shot for desertion, Cloud, as private, is in their opinion, not worth the their time, so the Shin-Ra’s army leave him live with his daing friend.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is a part of a large project called “ Compilation of the Final Fantasy VII “, bringing together virtual games [ including Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII for PS2 ], movies [ such as Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children ] and novels relating tho the seventh saga of Final Fantasy, originally released in the second half of the 19 years of the XX century with a view to the first generation of PlayStation consoles.

The mentioned project involves both products of squels & prequels – this position shows the events proceding the story of Final Fantasy VII.
Staff group from Square Enix presented an interesting hybrid of species cRPG and dynamic actionlike the one from electronic entertainment series, Full Metal Alchemist.

The main character [ hero if you please ^^ ] is Zack Fair, who is a member of an elite unit operating SOLDIER and a close friend of Cloud Strife.

Scenario involves accidents that have occurred in the town of Nibelhaim, when our famous 1st class SOLDIER, Sephiroth get to know about his past and commit a terrible slaughter of the town’s residents.
The events of Crisis Core connect also with the treads appearing in the sort [ only 25 minutes long ]animated movie titled, “ Last Order: Final Fantasy VII “.

It’s worth noting that among the creators of the game are Nomura Tetsu [ who designed the characters ] and Kitas Yoshinori [ the producer ]. Both man have already acted in the same team, which resulted with market debut of, for example, “ Chrono Trigger “, “ Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring “ and “ Kingdom Hearts “. The position of director was took by Tahata Hajime, who oversaw the development of “ Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII “ [ available only to holders of mobile phones ].
