Animal Update

I like to keep you guys in the loop of things that are going on in my life. For seven years we have been blessed with health reptiles and the knowledge to take rescue animals on and help them back to full health. Until last night, we have only lost one reptile and she was our first.

As some of you know, we took on three rescued Bearded Dragons about three months ago. Each was in a bad condition when we got them but after a month they were good as new. Jasper, Spike, and Nubs were all getting better till Jasper, the friendliest one, wouldn’t eat. We tried everything we knew to get him to eat; we even had to force feed him a few times to keep him alive. When he started to eat on his own again, he couldn’t keep any weight on. Finally, jasper died in his sleep last night. He will be missed but we know he’s in a better place now.

Unfortunately, that isn’t my only sad new. Our four-year-old fish died two days ago from old age. We knew it was coming but it didn’t make it any easier. We are much happier now that he isn’t suffering but we still miss him.

I have a video update that we recorded about two weeks ago. I will post it as soon as I can.
