I just wish that black folk can get along
better these days.
With all this racism resurfacing,
you would think that we all would
come together and love one another.
But that doesn't seem to be.
Like the other day, I saw this
brother with the most beautiful hair!

I complimented him on his hair,
and he looked at me like I shouldn't even
be in his circle!!!
I mean damn bruh, I didn't want YOU!!!
I just wanted your hair!

Can a sister get a 'thank you'?
How 'bout a 'kiss my ass'?
Perhaps a 'go to hell'?

Some of our people need to
get over themselves.
And what is up with calling
yourselves NativeAmerican
as opposed to being simply 'Black'?
Now, ain't nothing wrong with being
NativeAmerican if you truly are.
But if you don't know your great great
great grandfather Geronimo; if
your just assuming that you're
NativeAmerican 'cause your skin
and eyes are light,
then you are pretty sad.
Stop claiming all these cultures
and learn to embrace your own culture.
I swear, everybody wants to be
black except for black folk!!!
And Lord don't tell a black American
that they are descendants of Africa.
They'll be ready to kill ya azz!!!
Let me just tell yawl . . .
I am very proud to be black.
I wear my natural hair with pride.
I love how strong it is and how it just curls
up with out even trying!!

I love my chocolate skin.
It's 40 yrs. old and I don't have one wrinkle
on my face.
My skin is as smooth as chocolate
and I wouldn't change it for the world.
But it seems as though 'some' folks would
love to have my beautiful skin!
For they soak in the sun all day to get
dark like me.
Thank you Lord for the skin that I'm in!!
Anything else would be uncivilized.
So to all those brothers and sister out there
whom have a problem being black,
you have got to be out of you minds!!!!
Love yourself!!!
Then others will love you.
If not, then know that they are
the ones that got the damn problem.
Woo!!!
