From the foggy and frigid beaches of San Francisco, RiverRock (aquasurfshop.com) and Skydar (wavefest.com) are coming to Tiki Oasis 9 to bring you on a visual surf adventure.

That's right, Otto has asked us to take you on an abbreviated adventure thru the annals of surfing - Hell after this presentation your pretty much going to be an experienced surfer!- but don't get too serious, because after all its Saturday Night at Tiki Oasis #9! So right after our short film, we will host the official TO9 After Party! Throw in some sexy Devil-Ettes with DJ Skydar and Phast Phreddie rocking the turntables and this is ONE surf Tiki Oasis party you don’t want to miss!!!!

It does not cost anything to sell/trade/buy used surf and skate equipment at da Swap, so you absolutely have no excuses not to drag all that used equipment from your garages, on down to da Swap. We even have a map of the event setup and more information on our event's page at aquasurfshop.com that should answer all your questions about da Swap, and you can call us at the shop at 415 242 9283 if you have more- so DRAG OUT THE USED SURF/SKATE equipment.

There will be food, beer and music from the Hallway Ballers, the Reducing Agent, and da island jams of Kapakahi. This is our 8th annual Surf Swap, as always in the back parking lot of Aqua on Sloat Blvd. Drag all your old surfboards, wetsuits, skateboards, snowboards, etc and set up to sell and trade your used stuff- there is no fee to do this, so don't be lazy. Also vendor sale from all your favorite surf brands- Element, Altamont, Brixton, Sector 9, Hurley, LOst, and many more. There will be live music, bar-b-que, skate demo and more. Aquaholics is a homegrown documentary about surfing in the Bay Area, 7 years in the making, featuring local surfing spots: Ocean Beach, Mavericks, Santa Cruz and a few secret spots in between. Aquaholics reminds surfers why they are surfers…in search of the perfect wave and a lifestyle they hold sacred. Featuring local SF surfers Ragnar Johnson and Peter Campbell as well as Pat ‘Ninja’ Bollinger & Dominic ‘Pelican’ Spinardi. This is a time-travel collection of scenes from the last 14 years as local HMB legend Ion Banner raises & teaches his son Skylar about the lifestyle of the ‘Soul’ surfer. Also featuring current legendary surfers Shawn Rhodes, Matt Ambrose and Brent ‘Oil’ Hudson. Also included is a 15+ minute reel of Mavericks that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering if these guys are going to make the turn of their session or end up with the beatings of their lives. AQUA SURF SHOP PRESENTS “COLORS OF EDEN”
July 17 Fashion Show and Party to Benefit Edgewood

SAN FRANCISCO (June 23, 2008) – Aqua Surf Shop and Lisa Beach are at it again- we are proud to announce our fourth annual summer fashion show “Colors of Eden,” hosted by 111 Minna Gallery on Thursday, July 17, 2008. The show and fundraiser is a benefit for Edgewood Center for Children and Families (Edgewood). Named “Colors of Eden” for its vibrant and highly stylized setting, this Event will represent Aqua’s ongoing efforts to support Edgewood’s cause in the local community.

Guests can support Edgewood while previewing some of the hottest summer styles and new fall trends from Nikita, Element, Matix, Insight, L-Space and Vitamin A. With a fabulous night of fashion, renowned DJ’s, original artwork, and a lively after party with a guest appearance by San Francisco’s The Botticellis. This is an event you won’t want to miss.

“We are grateful to Aqua Surf for their ongoing support of Edgewood’s children and families. Each year, the Aqua Surf fundraiser gets bigger and better so we’re looking forward to “Colors of Eden,” said Nancy Rubin, Edgewood President and CEO. “This event has been a wonderful opportunity to introduce a new group of younger donors to Edgewood.”

Tickets for the event are $15 and are available at both Aqua Surf Shop locations. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and shows begin promptly at 9 p.m. Enjoy delicious drinks, great music and a sneak peak at all Aqua has in store. Guest contributions to Edgewood will last much longer than one night of fun by creating a lasting, positive difference in the lives of your fellow San Francisco children and families.
